The Museum of Relief Maps displays three-dimensional scale models of the terrain of French regions and landmarks, and it is located in Les Invalides in Paris. Models of Mont-Saint-Michel and the Château d'If are on view, and some pieces were made for military purposes during the reign of Louis XIV. It shares an entrance with the Army Museum, and its exhibition rooms are in a secluded attic on the top floor of the Napoleon exhibition area. Because of this secluded location, the route from the entrance to the exhibition rooms is difficult to find.
