Chanpuru Ya sits near the Okinawa Prefectural Government Office, running as a restaurant by day and an Okinawan izakaya at night. It serves goya chanpuru and fu chanpuru as its main dishes, along with Okinawa soba and hoe, and the stir-fried dishes are cooked over high heat. At lunch, past 12 o'clock one or two customers share tables, and both table seating and floor seating are used. Lunch is busy enough that by 12:08 the place is full and customers are turned away.
