Shabu Number One

Shabu Number One is a beef shabu-shabu restaurant in Junggye-dong, Seoul, also serving pyeonbaek-jjim. Diners take bean sprouts, bok choy, cabbage, and mushrooms from a self-service bar and cook them with thin slices of beef, and can wrap the results in rice paper as Vietnamese-style ssam. Vegetables are unlimited at the self-service bar, and the large space suits family gatherings. The meat portions are on the small side.
