Little Spicy Ttokbboki

Jjommaemaeun Tteokbokki is a snack shop in Gongneung 2-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, about a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of Gongneung Station. It serves miltteok gukmul tteokbokki, sundae, twigim, and little gimbap. The tteokbokki has chewy wheat tteok in a slightly spicy and sweet broth, and a cheese-topped version called chitteok can be ordered. Orders can be adjusted to half portions or other amounts, and broth for dipping twigim or sundae comes separately; at peak times the line usually runs over 20 minutes and parking is difficult.
