Chilseong Haemul Tong Jjamppong

Chilseong Haemul Tong Jjamppong is a Chinese restaurant in Junggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, a four-minute walk from Exit 2 of Sanggye Station. It serves jjamppong made with whole squid, whole octopus and whole webfoot octopus, along with jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk, and the whole-squid jjamppong is the signature dish with a thick, spicy broth. Arriving after 11:30 a.m. means waiting, and the restaurant takes neither reservations nor deliveries. The dining room is a small space on the second floor, so meals there can be loud and uncomfortable.
