The Clam is a seafood restaurant with outdoor seating on a relatively quiet side street in New York's West Village. It serves a seafood tower with oysters, shrimp, and lobster claws, along with Bluepoint oysters and crab dip. On a Friday afternoon the restaurant was full but a table was available in about 10 minutes, and the outdoor seating area is small. During busy hours, sitting down right away is difficult.
