Omusubi Gonbei

Omusubi Gonbei is inside a Katagiri Japanese grocery store one block south of Grand Central Terminal, selling Japanese rice balls, boxed meals and sushi. The rice balls are made by hand with fillings such as salmon, spicy tuna, grilled eel, fried oyster and Spam, and one or two of them make a light meal. They are picked from a labeled case and taken away immediately, with a microwave and a small eating area inside. Lines are long at peak hours.
