Kin Ramen is a Japanese ramen shop in Midtown Manhattan that serves Kin Ramen and Kara Kin Ramen. The rich broth comes with chewy noodles, soft chashu, and egg, and Kara Kin is spicy-hot rather than simply hot. There are times when people walk in without waiting right at the 4:30 p.m. reopening, while on cold days the wait runs 20 to 30 minutes. Prices are on the high side for a ramen shop.
