Club A Steakhouse in Manhattan opened in 1978 as an Italian restaurant and became a New York-style steakhouse in 2008; it is family-run. The signature dish is porterhouse steak, and portions are large enough that a serving for two leaves leftovers, which the restaurant packs for takeout. On the second floor, servers take photos of guests and print them, and an anniversary cake comes as a service. The steak is tender, and dessert after the meal is served as a service.
