Bierhaus NYC is a beer house in Midtown near the Grand Hyatt that serves German-style beer, sausages, and hamburgers. Ordering a sausage brings mustard sauce, sauerkraut, and potato salad, and draught lager and dark beer are also available. Elementary school children are allowed inside, staff wear traditional clothing, and several long tables make seating possible for groups of eight or more. A live band and singing are loud enough to make conversation difficult.
