Alice is an Italian seafood and pasta restaurant in the basement of a historic brownstone in the West Village. It serves handmade pasta and seafood dishes such as oysters, octopus, and branzino, and uses organic vegetables from local markets. There are two small dining rooms and a bar, with a skylight in the back space and a live DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. The lobster dish comes in a small appetizer portion and the bisque contains almost no lobster meat.
