Russ & Daughters

Russ & Daughters is a bagel shop in Manhattan, New York, selling bagel sandwiches with cured seafood such as smoked salmon and caviar. It has operated since 1914 and offers nearly seven kinds of salmon, including nova, lox, and sablefish, along with a choice of scallion cream cheese and capers. Customers take a number at the entrance, and when it is called they order bagel, fish, and cream cheese in that order, then pay when the food comes out. Portions are on the small side.
