Patent Pending is a speakeasy bar in New York that serves cocktails from both a regular menu and a seasonal menu. The menu draws on the electricity story of Nikola Tesla and Edison, and the cocktails are balanced with a heavy depth of flavor. During the day it operates as a coffee shop, and at 5 p.m. a hidden door opens. On Friday nights, entry can take close to two hours.
