Mezzrow is a small jazz bar in New York for listening to live jazz. It hosts piano, drum, and bass trio performances, and each table orders one drink. Performances start after 8 p.m., and seats in front of the stage are close enough to hear the players breathe. Because the space is long from front to back, walking in without a reservation leaves the stage almost invisible from the rear.
