Casetta

Casetta is a wine bar on Hester Street in the Lower East Side of New York that also serves coffee, pastries, and light food. It offers cortados, baguettes, tartines, and stracciatella, and its small wine list changes regularly. On weekend mornings and afternoons, many guests order coffee and pastries and stay a long time reading books. The floor staff is short-handed, so service is slow and servers are rude.
