Time Landscape

Time Landscape sits beside LaGuardia Community Garden in Manhattan, New York, at Houston St. and LaGuardia Pl. It is a historical site that shows Manhattan's nature before human intervention. Alan Sonfist created the work, replanting pre-colonial native species between 1965 and 1978. The green space is fenced off, so it can only be seen from the street, and the plants grow densely.
