SoHo Cast Iron Historic District is a historic district of cast-iron architecture in SoHo, New York, where the building facades and the street are seen together. It took shape in the mid-19th century, and colorful cast-iron facades can be seen on Greene Street and Broome Street. Ground floors are mostly stores, while the upper floors retain an industrial architectural style. On weekends it is crowded enough that shoulders touch.
