Library Walk is a sidewalk promenade in Midtown Manhattan that begins at Madison Avenue and East 41st Street. Brass plaques set into the pavement carry engraved images and text. Walking along both sides of East 41st Street, visitors can face the New York Public Library directly and take photographs, and the display is free. The content on the plaques on both sides repeats.
