Brooklyn Bridge Lookout is an observation point in Brooklyn Bridge Park where the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline are viewed together. From dusk into the night, city lights reflect off the bridge and the East River, and the view takes in the Manhattan Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. Lines from Walt Whitman's poem 'Crossing Brooklyn Ferry' are engraved on the fence around the lookout, and the railing is wide enough to rest a camera on without a tripod. At dusk and at night the lookout is crowded with tourists.
