Bethesda Terrace is a visitor site in New York where Central Park meets the Bethesda Fountain, European-style terraces, and arched passageways. Below the grand staircase are the fountain and an artificial lake, with ducks, geese, and turtles moving around the area. Busking takes place often on weekends, and restrooms are available nearby. Crowds can make the area uncomfortable at times.
