Mijo Port

Mijo Port is an anchovy-handling harbour at the southern end of Namhae, in Mijo-myeon. Fishing here follows the seasons: anchovies in spring, hairtail in autumn, and sea fish in winter. Many people fish for halfbeak from the breakwater, a sight that runs alongside the morning scene. Inside the harbour, the smell of fish is strong.
