Namhae German Village is a tourist village on high ground in Samdong-myeon, Namhae, with German-style buildings, cafes, and souvenir shops. Shops in the area sell German-style handmade sausage and German draft beer, and during the beer festival people line up to join in. A parking lot next to the observation deck allows visitors to park and see a free exhibition hall and rest facilities, and the village also documents the return and resettlement of miners and nurses sent to Germany in the 1960s and 1970s. The village sits on a steep slope, so walking around is difficult.
