The artificial cave in Sadong, Nam-gu, Gwangju was dug as an air-raid shelter for Japanese residents during the Japanese colonial period and remains as a tourist site. Safety helmets are provided at the entrance, and chairs and lighting are installed inside. The ceiling is low and sharp rocks protrude from it. The cave is located at 410 Cheonbyeonjwa-ro, Nam-gu, Gwangju.
