Wairano

Wairano is an old-school restaurant near Daenam Intersection and Daenam Pocha in Daeyeon-dong, Busan, serving drinking snacks such as grilled and braised cod. The signature dishes are yangnyeom daegu, semi-dried cod head meat cooked in a thick, caramelised spicy sauce, and daegu ppolsal gui, ordered half grilled and half braised. Daegu banban, which is not on the menu, can also be ordered, and the portions suit two or three people sharing drinks. Kongnamul kimchi guk is served in a scorched brass bowl, and the interior is not well organised.
