Umenohana is a formal restaurant in Kyoto that serves tofu kaiseki courses centered on yuba and yudofu. The yuba course brings yuba and various tofu dishes in sequence from appetizer to dessert, and there is also a course where diners scoop the yuba themselves. Eleven people can sit together in one small tatami room. Menu descriptions can be inconsistent, so a dish different from the one ordered may arrive, or dessert may come first.
