Daitsuru is a buckwheat noodle and udon restaurant on Sanjo-dori in Kyoto, a 10-minute walk from Hankyu Karasuma Station. In summer it serves hand-made buckwheat noodles only as zaru soba, and the warm buckwheat noodles in winter are not hand-made. The shop opened in Meiji 38 and has table seats and tatami seats. At 1 p.m. on a Saturday, 80% of the tables were occupied, and the buckwheat noodle portions are on the small side.
