Sushi Master Kyoto Kawaramachi

Sushi Master Kyoto Kawaramachi is a cooking class in Kyoto's Kawaramachi where you make sushi yourself. You make gunkanmaki, makizushi and nigirizushi, and taste them with eel, tuna and salmon. The 90-minute class covers the history of Japanese cooking and sushi, then you wash your hands, change into white clothing and make the sushi. The instructor explains each step, from spreading the rice to the order of rolling.
