Yeongnam Alps

Yeongnam Alps is a mountain area of high peaks and ridges stretching across Miryang, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Gyeongbuk. A hiking course runs past Baenaebong to Ganwolsan and Ganwoljae, and a wide silver grass field spreads out at the summit. The round trip to Ganwoljae takes about three hours, and the summit shop opens at 10 a.m., sells cup noodles, and has wooden tables and chairs. The Baenaebong, Ganwolsan, and Ganwoljae course is a long, difficult walk, and the descent alone takes about an hour and 30 minutes.
