Pyochungsa, a temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, sits at the foot of Jaeyaksan in Miryang and includes a shrine hall honoring the monk Samyeongdang. Inside the grounds are a three-story stone pagoda designated as a treasure, relics excavated from it, and the Sakyamuni, Medicine, and Amitabha Buddhas of Daegwangjeon. There is no admission fee, though parking is charged, and walking from the temple entrance through the grounds does not take long. Summer heat makes walking difficult.
