Zuishoji is an Obaku Zen Buddhist temple set behind a busy Tokyo district. The temple grounds combine wooden buildings with a modern ring-shaped structure designed by Kuma Kengo. It was founded in 1670, and the main hall, the Daeungbojeon, was rebuilt in 1757 and designated a National Important Cultural Property. There is little to see beyond the buildings.
