Seishoji is a Soto Zen temple dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha, set among high-rise buildings in Atago, Tokyo. Beyond the Sanmon and Jungmun gates are the main hall, Kannon Cathedral on the right, and the Zazen Hall on the left. Ota Dokan founded it in 1476 after bringing in Zen Master Ungan Juntoku. The Sajagul Hakryo on the grounds later became the foundation of Komazawa University, and construction currently blocks the Sanmon, making the interior difficult to explore.
