Ruriko-ji is a Soto school temple in Higashiazabu, Minato City, Tokyo, directly below Tokyo Tower. It was founded in 1614 as a branch temple of Ruriko-ji in Yamaguchi Prefecture and receives daily prayers along with visitors. A walking path leads into a green space where Tokyo Tower can be framed from an angle almost directly below it. At night fewer people are taking photos, and many inbound visitors come to photograph Tokyo Tower.
