Iikura Park is an urban park in Tokyo where children can run and play, a two-minute walk from Akabanebashi Station on the Toei Oedo Line. It has a large slide, swings, a sandbox, an open plaza, and benches. The park sits on the site of a former lodging house for foreigners from the late shogunate period, and it has restrooms, drinking water, and tables with benches, with cherry blossoms blooming in spring. Nurseries and elementary schools are nearby, so it is hard to talk quietly on the phone when many children are present.
