Kitakawara Park is a small park along Suhara Street southeast of Kyoto Station, with playground equipment for young children, benches, and picnic tables. The playground equipment is clean and nearly new, and cherry blossoms can be seen in the park. Visitors can go down to the artificial waterway, which can be used as a place to play in the water during summer. There are no toilets.
