Komaba Park in Meguro City, Tokyo, is a historic park that contains the former Maeda family estate and garden. The park holds a Western-style building and a Japanese-style building, and visitors enter both for free after taking off their shoes. A guided tour takes visitors into restricted areas such as the second floor of the Japanese-style building, and a cafe sits inside the literary museum. On Mondays the Western-style and Japanese-style buildings are closed, so their interiors cannot be seen.
