Meguro River Cherry Blossoms Promenade

Cherry trees line both sides of the Meguro River, forming a blossom path that runs from Nakameguro Station along the water. Stalls, used bookshops, and clothing stores stand along the walkways on both banks, and bridges over the river offer views of the water and the blossoms together. The walk from Meguro Station to Nakameguro Station takes 30 to 40 minutes. Daytime is good for photographs, and in the evening the trees are lit up; during full bloom the area is very crowded, and there are stretches along the river with few cafes or vending machines.
