Gohanya Bancho Shokudo

Gohanya Bancho Shokudo is a Japanese home-style restaurant in Matsuyama, set inside a garage-like space entered to the left of a vending machine. Diners pick three side dishes and add rice and miso soup, or order set meals such as sashimi, mackerel simmered in sauce, and hamburger steak. Side dishes are chosen directly from the refrigerator and the table, then heated in a microwave, and rice comes in small, regular, or large sizes. The fried items are on the oily side.
