Yeonggwang Bossam

Yeonggwang Bossam is a bossam restaurant in the Jokbal Alley near Gongdeok Station in Seoul that has served only bossam since 1978. The meat is sliced thick with a focus on lean cuts, and it comes out savory without any gaminess, pairing well with the not-sweet bossam kimchi. There is a wait even outside lunch hours, though the tables turn over quickly so you can get in soon. The tables are placed close together, making the room loud, and the portions of meat can feel small.
