Somunnan Jjukkumi is a seafood restaurant in Seoul that serves griddle-fried octopus and webfoot octopus and shabu-shabu. It sits in a back alley near Mapo Station and Seoul Garden Hotel. The griddle dish comes with bean sprouts and water dropwort, is seasoned so it is neither spicy nor salty, and is finished with fried rice. The griddle portion serves three or four people, and the live octopus is briefly cooked for a chewy texture.
