Sinseonggak is an old Chinese restaurant on the one-way Imjeong-ro on the west side of Hyochang Park, across from the Korean Senior Citizens Association central office, serving ganjjajang and tangsuyuk. The ganjjajang uses chunjang with almost no sweetness mixed with finely chopped onion, the hand-pulled noodles vary in thickness, and the tangsuyuk is fried in large pieces and cut with scissors before eating. Inside there are three tables for two or more people and one table for one person, and it closes early in the afternoon once ingredients run out. A waiting line forms often, and with three teams ahead the wait is about 30 minutes.
