Saemun Sundaeguk

Saemun Sundaeguk is a sundae guk restaurant in Daeheung-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, near Sogang University, serving sundae guk and sulguk. The soup has a rich broth with soft sundae and tender meat from the head, served with house-made kimchi and kkakdugi. Green onion and cheongyang chili are brought out by the bowl, and diners adjust the broth with dadegi, salted shrimp, perilla seed powder, and chili oil. The restaurant fills up and a line forms as soon as lunch service starts at noon.
