Mapo Yokjido is a seafood restaurant in a converted old house in a residential area of Mapo, Seoul. It serves makssaegi hoe and Namdo-style dishes, with thickly sliced hoe wrapped in seaweed such as miyeok, dasima and tot and eaten with salted hairtail innards. Reservations are required in advance, rooms must be booked a week ahead, and more hoe is sliced on request if it runs short. The maeuntang is milder than the other dishes.
