Mapo Original Tteokbokki

Mapo Wonjo Tteokbokki is a school-front snack shop in an alley near Mapo Station, selling tteokbokki, fish cake, sundae, gimbap and fried food. Its tteokbokki is made with wheat flour cakes in a gochujang and syrup base, giving a chewy, sweet and strongly spicy taste. The shop is small with almost no indoor seating, and the takeout line and the dine-in line sometimes form together. Only cash payment is accepted.
