Mapo Galmaegi

Mapo Galmaegi is a Korean grilled meat restaurant in the Galmaegi Alley of Gongdeok Station that grills marinated galmaegi sal. The galmaegi sal has a chewy texture and is served with onions pickled in soy sauce, while eggs are cooked on the edge of the grill. It opened in 1986, and there are low tables in the back of the space, which resembles an indoor pocha. The space is open, so it is difficult to hold a quiet conversation.
