Maeyang is a Chinese restaurant in Seoul that serves handmade dumplings, Beijing-style jjajangmyeon, and fried rice. It sits in an alley a short walk from Gajwa Station in Mapo-gu. The jjajangmyeon is topped with carrot, bean sprouts, cucumber, egg, and meat, and the dumplings come steamed or pan-fried. A female owner from Tianjin runs the place alone, it has been open for about seven years, and the eight-person table means seating is limited.
