Illyu Gopchang

Illyu Gopchang is a gopchang restaurant near Exit 10 of Gongdeok Station in Seoul that grills Hanwoo gopchang, daechang, and makchang over charcoal. The mixed platter comes with gopchang, daechang, and makchang together, and whole garlic inside the gopchang and the charcoal smoke are the house method. Staff place the gopchang on the grill themselves, turn it once or twice, and explain the food as they cook. The dining room, floor, and utensils are kept free of grease, and the area under the exhaust vent is wiped down often.
