Hwangtae Ttukbaegi Haejang-guk is a Korean restaurant in the basement arcade of Gongdeok that serves hwangtae haejang-guk and hwangtae naengmyeon. The broth is rich, served with buchu, and the rice is added to the bowl; the kitchen skips MSG for a clean, light result. The restaurant has run in Gongdeok for 20 years, opens for breakfast, and serves hwangtae naengmyeon only from April through September. Office workers crowd in at lunch, so the wait gets long.
