Gaeseong Sonmandu Mapo

Gaeseong Son Mandu Mapo is a restaurant in the Mecenatpolis food street in Daeheung-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, serving North Korean-style large mandu and mandu jeongol. The clear, spicy jeongol is based on anchovy broth and comes with four large mandu per person, and kalguksu is added to the remaining broth to boil and eat. A number ticket must be drawn at the door first because there is almost always a wait, and when the parking lot is full, the mechanical parking lot next door can be used. The menu is simple: mandu guk, mandu jeongol, bindaetteok, and donkatsu.
