Donghae Hoejip

Donghae Hoetjip serves yellowtail, assorted hoe (raw fish platter), and maeuntang (spicy fish stew), and sits near Sogang University up the hill road from Sinchon Station. The hoe is cut from live fish when ordered, and comes with basic side dishes, mussel soup, and maeuntang (spicy fish stew) with sujebi (hand-torn dough soup) torn from dough made in-house. In the evening a wait forms as customers gather, and the maeuntang is brought out by the owner near the end of the meal. The restroom is in a heavily worn state.
