Daldongne

Daldongne (Gwang Sikine) is a retro-style pub in Hongdae that serves makgeolli and jeon in a setting modelled on the daldongne neighbourhoods of the 1970s and 1980s. Its signature items are honey makgeolli, a 41cm potato-chae jeon, and triple jeon, drunk from a kettle. The basement space has handmade eomuk, saengmyeon, and bam makgeolli on the menu. Orders are slow, and jeon and odeng-tang can take an hour and thirty minutes to arrive.
